Why Supporting Students in the Community is Important:
Ateki’s founder, Anthony D’Andrea, strongly believes in supporting his community. This desire to give back became the catalyst of our scholarship program. Our team values academics and routinely gives out scholarships to aid students with the cost of books, classes, supplies, etc.
Madison Knight, an undergraduate, at Lewis University is studying to be a special education teacher. She expressed that she pays for school all on her own. This year FAFSA was unable to help her with funds. We understand how hard it is for students to financially support themselves, especially when the cost of college is steadily on the rise.
Upon hearing this, we wanted to surprise Madison and presented her with a scholarship. The money went towards purchasing books for the school year. We wish Madison all the best on her journey and look forward to her blossoming into a wonderful special education teacher!
